First, thank you, thank you for finding the courage it took to bring yourself to this place of wanting support or perhaps wanting to understand life more easily.
As your counsellor, I will provide a non-judgmental space where I can fully listen and be present with you. I will approach our sessions with unconditional acceptance, and I will also challenge you - not by forcing you to do things you don't want, but by encouraging you to look within for your own answers, rather than seeking external validation. I will empower you to trust your intuition, even when you doubt yourself. I will support you in stepping out of belief systems that don't belong to you, and I will remind you that it's okay to slow down, take space, say no, and simply be who you choose to be.
I am honoured to walk alongside my clients and witness the profound moments when they see their true selves and find the courage to address the challenges they have carried in silence. Life is not meant to be lived alone. Anxiety, depression, trauma, isolation, self-harm, addiction, grief, loss - these are all very real struggles that many of us face. Allow me to create a safe, nurturing space where you can unfold and work through these difficulties. I am here to support you throughout this journey we call life. Though you already hold the answers within, having someone to explore and process those answers alongside you can instil the confidence needed to fully trust yourself.
One of my roles is being a support system - encouraging you not to play small, and reminding you that you are welcome exactly as you are, without limitations or language that holds you down. After all, as human beings, we don't belong in boxes; we belong wherever we desire and choose to be,not where we've been told or conditioned to believe.
I like to use this metaphor - Imagine a lantern in a dark hallway. I will light the lantern and hold it in the darkness until you are able to carry it yourself. My goal is to empower you to become your own counsellor - to live your life consciously, with peace and understanding, embracing your authentic self.
