I believe that true growth begins with understanding and nurturing the relationship you have with yourself. In the therapeutic space, I focus on creating a safe, trusting environment where we can work together to uncover and reflect the person you truly are. I recognize that every behavior has its roots, and that with understanding and support, we all have the ability to change. Change is not just personal—it transforms the way we relate to others, especially those closest to us.
With 19 years of experience as a paramedic, I’ve learned a great deal about the human condition and developed a unique ability to connect with people in high-pressure, dynamic situations. This experience has allowed me to quickly read between the lines of a person’s story and guide them toward meaningful, lasting change.
In counseling, I take a person-centered approach—guided by curiosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping you discover your authentic self. Through understanding and empathy, I’ll support you in revealing the best version of yourself, ultimately leading to personal truth and growth.
We create space to gently reconnect with your true self, embracing all parts without judgment.
With openness and kindness, we explore experiences together, fostering understanding and insight.
Through calm presence and acceptance, we build a foundation where healing can unfold naturally.
Meaningful connection supports awareness and healing through shared understanding.
We honor the courage in leaning into discomfort, nurturing strength and emotional balance together.
This was made possible by understanding how the nervous system works and how my childhood conditioning leads to dysfunctional patterns and relationships in the present moment. The body keeps the score and through studying attachment theory and somatic experiencing, I learned it is possible to respond rather than react in old dysfunctional patterns. This is achieved by creating the conditions for emotional regulation. The only person you can control is yourself, through self awareness and personal responsibility, real change is possible.
My own journey of healing has included recovery from addiction at a young age and then beginning to work as a frontline paramedic for close to 20 years. I learned that to survive in this environment, I had to suppress my emotions in order to be present in the chaos. This stuck energy has to go somewhere and bubble up in anxiety/alarm. This led to disconnection from myself and the people closest to me. In rediscovering how to feel, I learned the person I thought I was very different from who I truly am.
